Studio About Flower tube Glass Vase H16cm Green
This green Flower Tube vase is a real eye-catcher. The Flower tube collection by Studio About consists of a series of cylindrical vases in a combination of clear and coloured glass. An absolutely unique design, in which a cylinder of clear glass is the supporting part in which a coloured vase rests. The coloured vase seems to float because of this. The vase is perfect for a small bouquet or a few beautiful flowers or a single branch.
Flowers in the house
When the garden and the roadsides are in full bloom, there is nothing more fun than taking in some of those beautiful flowers. Also think of small bulb flowers in spring. Rinse the soil from a small bulb of, for example, a small daffodil and make sure that the roots are completely free of soil. Fill the Flower tube with water, so that only the roots end up in the water, the bulb must not touch the water. Because the vase is transparent you can see the roots and their development.
Mouth-blown glass
The beautiful mouth-blown flower vases are made of borosilicate glass. This type of glass is resistant to large temperature fluctuations, so you don't have to worry about the glass cracking. The glass is also scratch resistant and the vase stays beautiful for a long time. Borosilicate glass is also used to make laboratory supplies, such as test tubes and measuring beakers. This also means that the colours do not fade during use because the glass is coloured through and through.
Despite the strong glass, the top edges of the vase are extra fragile. We therefore recommend that you take extra care when removing the vase from the cylinder.
The Flower Tube vase is 160 mm high and a diameter of 65 mm.
Maintenance
Glass is a beautiful material, especially in combination with water, where the reflection and glare can give beautiful effects. By adding water and plants, the vase must also be cleaned to keep it beautiful.
You can clean the vases with normal washing-up liquid. If you suffer from persistent limescale in the vase, you can soak it overnight with cleaning vinegar.
If you want to avoid limescale, you can use demineralized water.
We try to display the colors as well as possible, this can also differ per medium (laptop, mobile). Per production, the tint may also differ slightly (lighter or darker).
