Welcome to the most frequently asked questions about SHIPPING in our webshop. If your question is not listed, please take a look first at the other topics at the bottom of our pages. Christmas rush - The advice in December is to order on time, take into account extra days of delivery to be on the safe side. The chance of delay is greatest the closer to the specific holidays. We ship every working day (except Monday 16 December), but are then dependent on the courier services. Give them a few days to deliver your package. Has your package not been delivered the next day? Do not immediately ring the bell, but wait a few days. Usually the package is delivered in those days in between. If this does not happen, send me an email and I will investigate and solve the problem.
PostNL collection point - If you choose to collect your package at a collection point, please take into account a one-day delay in shipping (due to the busy times at the drop-off point, I cannot always drop off my packages the same day during this period, because they are full). In addition, the drop-off points are so busy during this period that they are full and no longer accept packages for you to pick up. This may mean that your package is at a collection point later, or at a completely different collection point than the one you specified. Here too, we ask you to be patient and only contact us after 4 working days of delay to investigate your package.
Friday shipping - Due to the high volume this month of December (including the last Friday of November), I will also ship most packages via bicycle courier/GLS on Friday. This only means that your package will usually be delivered on Monday or Tuesday instead of Saturday. (I normally ship via PostNL on Friday, but due to the high volume this is not possible these months). If you would still like it to be shipped with PostNL, please indicate this when ordering (in comments), and I will do my best.
Monday 2nd and 16th December - On these days we do not ship parcels, because experience shows that on these days the largest amount of parcels are delivered to the courier services and these have a big chance of delay. We ship all parcels on the Tuesday after.
No shipping on December 24th and 31st - on these days the Bike Courier will not pick up any packages and therefore no shipping will take place. The last day before Christmas that we ship is December 23rd and also December 30th (the physical store is open on December 24th. The physical store is closed on December 31st).
Important: Will your order be delivered by PostNL? Please note that if you are not at home at the time of delivery, you will no longer find a note in your letterbox (effective from 1 July 2022). You will find all information about the delivery in the mail with the track & trace in it.
How is my order shipped?
- Your order will be shipped within the Netherlands with Fietskoerier, GLS and PostNL. It is possible to track your order via the Track & Trace system. You will receive a Track & Trace code via e-mail as soon as the order has been sent. When shipping to Belgium you have the choice to receive your order via PostNL or DPD. Outside the Netherlands and Belgium, it differs per country, with which package service we ship.
When will my package be sent with Fietskoeriers, GLS or PostNL?
- Basically I work together with Fietskoeriers Deventer (they pick up the packages from me), who work together with Fietskoeriers.nl. Where there are Fietskoeriers in the Netherlands, your order will be delivered by them. Where this is not yet the case, Fietskoeriers works together with GLS and takes care of the delivery.
- When I take the packages to a drop-off point myself, I work with PostNL.
- If you have a personal preference, due to perhaps unpleasant experience in the past, please indicate this with your order, and I will see if this is possible.
What are the shipping costs within the Netherlands?
- The Netherlands: Basically, we send everything to you via parcel service / letterbox package. If your order only consists of a few postcards, we will send them via letterbox post, up to a certain weight.
- Parcel service NL: € 6.95 (up to 23 kg)
- Mailbox post NL: €4.95
- In the Netherlands, all orders over €70,- get free shipping.
Within how many days will my order be delivered?
- The Netherlands: We strive to have your order delivered to you quickly. In practice, that means: if you place an order (and paid immediately) on workdays, before 2 p.m., it will still be shipped on the same day. In most cases you will receive your order the next working day or at the latest the next working day. If you have opted for payment via bank transfer, your order will be sent as soon as the payment is received. Orders at blikfang placed from Netherlands to an address within the Netherlands, will be delivered by PostNL, GLS or bicycle courier. You will receive via mail a track & trace code, which you can track your order.
- The orders are delivered to Belgium by PostNL, GLS or DPD (customer's own choice). Via PostNL the package usually arrives the next day, if ordered and paid for before 2 p.m. on business days. Via DPD or GLS it usually takes an extra day. You will receive an track & trace code via mail, with which you can track your order.
- Shipping to DPD or PostNL takes place in other countries. After receipt of payment, your order will be sent within 1-2 business days to the chosen delivery address (except if you have chosen to pay afterwards, your order will be sent immediately after placement). You will receive a track & trace code via email with which you can track your order. If you have opted for payment via bank transfer, your order will be sent as soon as the payment is received.
- Different delivery time for all countries: If a product is not in stock, but can be ordered (Backorder), the delivery time is longer. You will receive a general indication of this with the product information. It is possible to receive a more specific indication. Send us an email with this question to [email protected].
Can I have my order delivered to a different address?
- Yes, you can have your order delivered to a different address. You can indicate this during the order procedure under 'send to another address'.
Can my order also be sent as a gift to another address?
- Yes, you can have your order delivered directly to another address. You can indicate this during the order procedure under 'send to another address'. Do not forget to write your personal message in the box: comments, so that the recipient knows from whom the gift came from. If you have also ordered items that you want, we cannot split your order in half for you. The entire order is sent to one address.
Can I decide when I will receive my order? (only for the Netherlands)
- If you have specific wishes for delivery, please indicate this in the comments field. For example, if you are on holiday and it can only be delivered after a certain date, you can indicate this. Keep in mind that delivery on a specific day is difficult. We certainly do our best for that, but are dependent on the third party, the shipping party. Something can always happen there that causes it to be delivered a little later. You can always choose to pick up your order at a PostNL point, then you have 7 days to pick up the package and you are more flexible.
Can I also pick up my order?
- Yes, if you live near Deventer (Overijssel) or are in Deventer for a day, you can also pick up your order in our store. This is normally possible from Wednesday to Saturday, another day is only possible after contact. As soon as your order has been placed and paid, you will receive a message from us as soon as your order is ready to be picked up. In most cases, this can be the next store opening day, but sometimes also the same day (if desired, please contact us immediately after placing your order). During the ordering process you can select the option "pick up in the store in Deventer" when shipping, in this case no shipping costs will be charged.
I forgot to pick up my order at the PostNL collection point (or DPD), unfortunately my package has already been returned to you, how to proceed?
- That is very annoying. We can send package again to you, there are only shipping or attached to it, because this is the second time, we ship the same package. If you prefer to cancel your order, we will still charge the shipping costs incurred (because an unnecessary shipment has taken place and we have incurred costs) and these will be deducted from the amount when the refund is made.
I have changed my mind about my purchase, but see that it is already on its way, can I return it?
- If your package is already on its way, you can have it returned immediately upon receipt. It is important that you inform me about this in advance and explain why you are returning it without viewing, only in that case you will receive the full invoice amount back. If I receive your unopened package without notice, I see this as an unnecessary shipment and you will only receive the amount of the returned product, excluding the already paid shipping costs.
Do you also ship to Belgium?
- We certainly ship to Belgium.All orders are sent via parcel service. You can choose yourself via which parcel service you want it delivered.

- Yes, we certainly ship to Germany. All orders are sent via parcel service. You can choose yourself via which parcel service you want it delivered.

Do you ship to other countries / worldwide?
- Yes, we ship to a lot of countries. See the list below for the nations you can select in our shop during ordering. If your nation is not on the list. Please send us a message and we can have a look if we can send it to you and how much the shipping costs are.
IMPORTANT: We do not shop to the UK, not that we don't want to (we would love to), but the administration part is to much work for us, at the moment.

Shipping outside Europe
For the countries below (and surrounding) shipping costs are difficult to calculate in the webshop. This is because from now on the shipping costs are not only calculated by weight, but also depending on the shipping packaging. In order to calculate the correct shipping costs, a lot of information is needed, which is not yet possible in the webshop. Now I can ask a standard rate, but it will then be very high, to avoid additional costs.
I would like to avoid extra high shipping costs for you , and I prefer to calculate the correct shipping costs based on your order.
In order to do this, I ask you to do the following.
Send an email to '[email protected]' containing: the products you want to order (optional: put them in your shopping bag and make a printscreen), the quantities, the country and zip code where it has to be sent. On the basis of this information I can indicate exactly what the shipping costs will be. Based on that information, you can decide whether to proceed with the order or not.
