The tray is made of synthetic flexible rubber (polyurethane) and has the same characteristics as rubber, but without its annoying odor. Because the tray is made of flexible rubber, it is only suitable as a coaster but not suitable as a tray. The tray can be washed in the dishwasher very easily and is resistant to both high and low temperatures (-40 to 120 degrees). Substances such as oil and vinegar or soap have no influence on the material. If in the course of time the color becomes a bit duller or if there are some scratches on the material, these can easily be removed. Use (edible) oil to give the tray a silky appearance again. You only need a little bit. Just as good after rubbing with a soft dry cloth and the tray is like new again.
