Product description

Nice and specially designed transparent glass vase from Scandinavia Form. This vase has the shape of a round glass ball and is specially designed for a single flower. In many vases it is not possible to keep a single flower upright. In the vases of Scandinavia Form every flower stays nicely upright and it stands out well.

Glass

The Glasilium vase from Scandinavia Form is a beautifully transparent vase in which every flower is displayed well. A glass vase fits always and everywhere and it is very nice to combine with the other glass vases from the Scandinavia Form collection. It has a diameter of 85 mm and is equipped with a cork with a copper tube inside which together ensure that the flower stays upright. Combine this glass vase with the brass wall ring (Botanica) from Scandinavia Form and hang it on the wall for an extra nice effect!

Cleaning

The glass vase is easy to clean with small pieces of eggshell and a little lemon juice. Remove the cork and put a few pieces of eggshell and a few drops of lemon juice in the vase. Hold the opening of the vase closed with your thumb and shake it well back and forth. After a few vigorous shakes, the vase is clean and any green deposits have disappeared. Rinse the vase with clean water and let the vase dry upside down.

Copper pipe

The pipe is made of copper and can oxidize over time, due to the influence of oxygen. This means that the material can eventually turn dark in color. This is very normal, if you do not like it then you can brush the copper pipe with copper polish to restore the original shine. It is also possible to clean the tube with tomato ketchup if you do not have a copper polish at home. Coat with ketchup and let it soak. Make sure that you do not touch the cork with the ketchup or the copper polish. Should this happen, rinse the cork clean with lukewarm water.
