Martin Schwartz Copenhagen playing card set

Product description

A beautiful set of playing cards with buildings of Copenhagen by Martin Schwartz. Instead of the king or queen, a building is now depicted on the playing cards, a daytime view with a night view of the city in the reflection. A beautiful detail!

On the back you see an image of many buildings in Copenhagen, the same image as on the Copenhagen jigsaw puzzle. The playing cards are suitable for all card games.

Martin Schwartz - Danish Illustrator

Martin Schwartz (born 1974) is a contemporary Danish illustrator and graphic designer working from his studio in Vesterbro in Copenhagen (DK).
His series of city prints pays tribute to the variety of buildings found in each city. For each poster design, Martin Schwartz invests a lot of time researching the city to fully understand its DNA. Talking to the locals and visiting each neighborhood are all essential parts of his research.

The end result is a stunning rendering that depicts the city's most iconic buildings, historic bars and typical residential houses in great detail. His illustrations give you the soul of a city in one print. He released these prints as posters and puzzles.
