Marimekko Varvunraita cushion cover 40x40cm gold

This gold shiny cushion cover from Marimekko has the Varvunraita design. The cushion is made of unbleached cotton satin and is printed with metallic pigment. The cover has a zipper on one side and a narrow, folded edge.

The cushion cover is made of 100% cotton, of which 50% is organic cotton.

The cushion cover is supplied without an inner cushion, but can be ordered directly if necessary.

Cushions on the couch

The Varvunraita cushion cover is very nice to combine with other cushions on the couch, with other Marimekko patterns or beautiful plain cushion covers, if you like something quieter.

The cushion cover is washable at 40°C, follow the washing instructions given by Marimekko. You can find them on the label on the cushion cover.

Marimekko Varvunraitat design

This print was designed by Vuokko Eskolin-Nurmesniemi, who worked at Marimekko from 1953 to 1960. The thinly striped Varvunraita (twig stripe) is a delicate, textured story about the incredible lushness of nature.

Inner cushion

Marimekko cushion covers are supplied without an inner cushion. Perhaps you still have a 40x40cm inner cushion at home, if this is not the case, you can order one immediately when purchasing the cover. The Marimekko white inner cushion is a firm yet soft cushion that fits in any 40x40cm cushion cover. The outside of the cushion is white and made of 100% cotton and is filled with polyester. The cushion can be washed at 40°C, use 1/3 less detergent than normal (see washing instructions on the cushion).
