Marimekko Unikko cushion cover 40x60cm sand white

A beautiful Unikko cushion from Marimekko measuring 40x60cm is made from an unbleached linen and viscose mix and the fabric is printed in Helsinki. The cover has a zipper on one side.

The fabric of the Marimekko Unikko cushion cover consists of 63% linen (of which 36% recycled linen) and 37% viscose.

Marimekko cushion covers are made from the full width of the fabric, so the same cushion made from the same fabric may differ slightly because the pattern shifts slightly. This makes each pillow unique.

The cushion cover is delivered without inner cushion 40x60cm, but can be ordered directly if necessary.

Cushions on the couch

This cushion cover has the size 40x60cm and is nice to change from the standard 50x50cm cushions. By alternating designs and varying sizes, you can make a nice combination on your sofa.

The cushion cover is washable at 30° C, follow the washing instructions given by Marimekko. You can find them on the label on the cushion cover.

Marimekko Unikko dessin

The design Unikko (poppy) was born in 1964 after Armi Ratia, the founder of Marimekko, announced that Marimekko would never print a flower pattern. Maija Isola refused to follow Armi's orders and created - as a protest - a whole series of beautiful floral prints. One of them was Unikko, which has become a story of creativity, strength, courage and confidence in itself.

Inner cushion

The cushion covers from Marimekko are supplied without inner cushion. You may still have a 40x60cm inner cushion in the house, if this is not the case, then you can order one immediately when you purchase the cover. The Marimekko white inner cushion is firm yet soft cushion that fits in every 40x60 cushion cover. The outside of the cushion is white and made of 100% cotton and is filled with polyester. The pillow can be washed at 40 ° C, use 1/3 less detergent than normal (see washing instructions on the pillow).
