Marimekko Unikko 0.7lt storage jar off-white

The low Unikko storage jar from Marimekko is made of white stoneware and has a subtle design in off-white. The jar has a cork lid with the Marimekko logo on the bottom. The pot looks beautiful in everyone's kitchen.

The storage pot has a capacity of 0.7lt and is 9.8cm high and has a diameter of 13.5cm.

The design Unikko (poppy) was born in 1964 after Armi Ratia, the founder of Marimekko, had announced that Marimekko would never print a flower pattern. Maija Isola refused to follow Armi's orders and created - out of protest - a whole series of beautiful floral prints. One of them was Unikko, which has become a story of creativity, strength, courage and confidence in itself.
