Marimekko Set of 20 Unikko cards with envelope in box

A beautiful Unikko set of 20 folded cards with envelope from Marimekko. They are folded cards of 9.5 x 11.7 cm, with a Unikko design on the front and the inside you can describe. Each card in the set of 20 pieces has a different Unikko design with different colours.

Unikko

The design Unikko (poppy) was born in 1964 after Armi Ratia, the founder of Marimekko, had announced that Marimekko would never print a flower pattern. Maija Isola refused to follow Armi's orders and created - as a protest - a whole series of beautiful floral prints. One of them was Unikko, which has become a story of creativity, strength, courage and confidence in itself.
