LOVI watercolor set for natural Lovi items

With this watercolor set, you can color the natural / unpainted items from LOVI yourself. Make your own creation!

The watercolor set contains 8 paint colors: 2 x blue (ultramarine and Prussian), 2 x red (cinnabar and carmine), 2 x yellow (cadmium and chrome), white and black.

Painting yourself

First of all, decide whether to assemble or paint the object before assembling it. Then grab the watercolor set and make sure you have a glass of water. Wet the brush, turn the surface of the paint button a few strokes and paint with your favorite colors. Use pure primary colors or mix the shades lightly. With a wetter brush (so with more water in proportion than the paint) you create a more translucent surface. Reduce the amount of water to have a thicker, more opaque paint. Experiment with different colors and combinations. Let your imagination run wild and create completely new, unique Lovi characters.

Watercolor is a great way to paint Lovi natural wood products. The paint is manufactured by A. Wennström Oy in Finland. They last a long time and are very pigmented. They are also environmentally friendly and safe for children.

The watercolors are packed in plastic-free packaging and because the brush is an important part of a successful whole, a high-quality brush is included. With this flat brush you can create wider lines as well as small details.

Also included in the package is an illustrated color mixing guide. Combine with a Lovi product (unpainted/natural) and send as an ecological and educational gift.
