Lars Rank Keramik Handmade Plate Blue Hills Ø 16cm

Product description

Beautiful handmade plate from the Blue Hills series by Lars Rank Keramik. This plate has a blue speckled color with a coarse texture that the plate and has a typical Scandinavian look with a fine 60s-70s look.

BLUE HILLS

This Blue Hills series is a very beautiful and special series of ceramics designed by the Danish ceramist Lars Rank. Blue Hills is characterized by a special color blue that is used for this series of dishes and that is created by the way in which the ceramic is glazed. For this special color, coarse (beige) ceramic sludge is used that only gets its final blue in the oven. The use of a coarser sludge also gives the blue underside a special texture that is reminiscent of the ceramics from the 60s and 70s.

All cups are made by hand and can differ in color from light blue to a deeper colored blue. Also the color can be lighter or darker here and there, that is part of the design and makes each cup unique! View our entire collection of Lars Rank.

DISHWASHER

Preferably wash the dishes in the dishwasher, because that is better for the ceramic. If they are washed by hand then the dish will soak up more water and then the dish has to dry longer (upside down) to allow the water to evaporate.

The dish is not suitable for use in the microwave. The dish has a diameter of 16 cm and a hight of 1,5cm.
