Lapuan Kankurit - Teemu Järvi Moose tea towel 46x70 linen/cotton blend

NIEUW
Product description

Bring Finnish nature into your kitchen with this beautiful Moose tea towel from Lapuan Kankurit, designed by Finn Teemu Järvi. Teemu Järvi knows how to portray the wild animals incredibly well in their natural pose.

Moose Teatowel

The tea towel is 46x70cm and made of a mix of linen and organic cotton.

The tea towel is woven, which means it only has a small hem at the bottom and side. The sides have a real 'selvedge'. That means no hem, but the sides are already neatly finished smoothly during the weaving. A very nice way of finishing. The tea towel has a loop in the middle of the long piece at the top, where you can hang the tea towel. The washing instructions and the composition of the fabric are also on this loop.

The tea towel is made in Finland in their own factory in Lapua and is made of 60% European 'Masters of linen' linen and 40% organic cotton.

Lapuan Kankurit Teatowel

This tea towel is beautifully finished and made from an easy-care linen-cotton blend. Lapuan Kankurit is part of the Masters of Linnen organization, which guarantees that the flax they use is of the best European quality. The products are woven in their own weaving mill in Lapua, Finland, in the heart of the fields of South Ostrobothnia.

This product is made from linen and organic cotton. Flax is grown in Normandy, Europe and is traceable 100% European Masters of Linen linen yarn. All yarns are both spun and dyed in Europe according to REACH regulations and meet the ÖKO-TEX certificate requirements.

Lapuan Kankurit's strategy is that they take responsibility for the entire production, from yarn to the finished product. For this reason, most of their collection is made in their own weaving mill in Lapua, Finland. If production is not possible there, they move to their partially owned factory in Lithuania.

Maintenance

Wash the new fabric before use to improve absorption. Wash separately at 60 ° C on a gentle cycle in plenty of water. 40 ° C is also a suitable washing temperature. Avoid fabric softener and bleach. Not in the dryer. Shape and iron with a damp cloth. The color of natural linen becomes lighter with washing. Shrinkage approx. 5%.

Design by Teemu Järvi

Teemu Järvi is an award-winning artist and designer specializing in wilderness themes. The works stem from the artist’s lifelong love of nature. As a relentless explorer of Finnish forests and lakes, Järvi is intimately familiar with wild life. Working with traditional tools such as the reed pen, he creates works of art that transport us from our hectic city lives to the soothing calm of the ancient wilderness.

Teemu Järvi’s craftsmanship is intimate. Like a hunter-gatherer of old, he has a deep connection to the tools and models he uses. His work focuses on the essential: the astonishingly complex and diverse nature, which is increasingly under pressure from our modern lives.

Lapuan Kankurit began collaborating with Teemu in 2017. The Lapuan Kankurit x Teemu Järvi collection includes, among other things, several nature-themed tea towels.
