Maintenance
Wool has excellent natural dirt resistance, so it is not necessary to wash it often. The wool cleans itself and is dirt-repellent because the dirt remains on the surface due to the natural oils in the wool. A good care tip is to let it air outside when the air is humid but obviously not raining. If you do need to wash the pillow, carefully follow the instructions on the product
Machine washable at 30 ° Celsius. Only use a program made for wool. Wash separately and iron at a low temperature. Do not tumble dry or use bleach.

Sustainability is in KLIPPAN's DNA
At Klippan Yllefabrik they want to live in harmony with nature, work with resources that already exist and leave as few footprints as possible. That is why, from the start in 1879, they have chosen to always use 100% natural materials. All their plaids and blankets are made entirely in our Oeko-Tex® certified factory.
Their vision is to produce beautiful, high-quality textiles, produced with great care for the environment.
Ecophoria, June 2021 - They did a test on a farm just outside Klippan. They covered weeds with wool blankets and made new breeding beds. After a year there were no traces of wool left in the ground.
Made by Klippan
Klippan Yllefabrik is located at two locations. The head office is located in Skåne's Klippan, where it all started more than 140 years ago. The production takes place with great care in their Oeko-Tex® certified factory Klippan Saule in Riga, Latvia.
Klippan follows every step in the process and takes responsibility for it, from raw material to end product. They buy natural materials, spin, dye, shear, weave and brush their wool.
A throw or blanket from Klippan is a sustainable and environmentally friendly choice for a lifetime.
They are constantly working to make their products as environmentally friendly as possible. A conscious work that has so far yielded the following results:
they have reduced their energy consumption to make a plaid by more than 50% in five years.
The plastic bags they use for their blankets and plaids are made from recycled plastic.
