The throws are made from the finest natural wool, sourced from sheep that are raised in a sustainable manner. This high-quality wool is not only soft and warm, but also sustainable and environmentally friendly. The wool plaids, which are mainly made in Finland, come from the beautiful company Lapuan Kankurit. They feel responsible for every step of the process and know it down to the last detail. From where the wool comes from, to the own finishing of the textile products, including the beautiful plaids.
Lapuan Kankurit's strategy is that they take responsibility for the entire production, from yarn to the end product. For this reason, the largest part of their collection is made in their own weaving mill in Lapua, Finland. If production is not possible there, they move to their partly owned factory in Lithuania. The wool they use is mulesing-free and they only work with certified spinning mills. All yarns are spun and dyed in Europe according to REACH regulations and meet the ÖKO-TEX certification.
