Architectmade Penguin Small H18.2 Beech wood
Hans Bunde originally created the Penguin in 1954, one for each of his daughters. The Architectmade Penguin is made of beech wood.
Pinguin - Architectmade
With the Penguin, Hans Bunde combined his love for his daughters and his fascination for birds. The elegant figures, large and small, symbolize majestic pride, family ties, friendship and love.
Designed in beech wood, each Penguin is unique. While their shiny, hand-painted backs resemble shining penguin feathers in the bright Arctic sun, the front appears in rough, untreated wood. The unique lines of the raw material will only become more beautiful with time.
Although extremely simple, the penguin is designed so that no one would mistake it for any other species.
