Marimekko Alku cushion cover 40 x 40 cm 21% linen dark blue (excl. inner cushion)

A beautiful cushion cover from Marimekko with the Alku design in Dark Blue. The cushion cover  is made of an unbleached cotton and linen blend and is printed in Helsinki. The cover has a zipper on one side.

The cushions are made from the full width of the fabric, so the same cushion made from the same fabric can differ slightly because the pattern is slightly offset. This makes each pillow unique.

This product contains 79% cotton (of which 46% recycled cotton) and 21% recycled linen.

The cushion cover is supplied without an inner cushion, but can be ordered directly if necessary.

Cushions on the couch

The Alku cushion cover is very nice to combine with other cushions on the couch, with other Marimekko patterns or beautiful plain cushion covers, if you like something quieter. Combine it with black and white or with a beautiful color.

The cushion cover is washable at 60°C, follow the washing instructions given by Marimekko. You can find them on the label on the cushion cover.

Inner cushion

Marimekko cushion covers are supplied without an inner cushion. Perhaps you still have a 40x40cm inner cushion at home, if this is not the case, you can order one immediately when purchasing the cover. The Marimekko white inner cushion is a firm yet soft cushion that fits in any 40x40cm cushion cover. The outside of the cushion is white and made of 100% cotton and is filled with polyester. The cushion can be washed at 40°C, use 1/3 less detergent than normal (see washing instructions on the cushion).
