Studio Arhoj Munch Bowl Chocolate Fizz
The Munch Bowl Yellow Snapper is a unique and handmade bowl from Studio Arhoj. The bowl has a beautiful glaze layer. The bowl is perfect for your breakfast cereal with yogurt or for a soup or noodles. It is a large bowl with a wide flat base, so that it stands securely. Because the side walls go straight up, your dish stays hotter in the bowl than in a wide-ranging dish. The bowl is 8 x 13 cm and the content is approximately, 630ml. It can be washed in the dishwasher (keep a distance from other ceramics), but is advised by Arhoj to wash it by hand.
Each bowl is unique
The nice thing is that every bowl is unique, even if it looks the same at first glance, because every bowl is glazed by hand and glaze is not always 100% lead. This makes these bowls so unique. Of every munch bowl that is in the web store, there is (usually) 1 in stock. Because of this we invite you to make a nice combination, ton sur ton or a combination with a strong contrast. Extra fun to make your own selection.
Important: The photos are an indication of the dish that you will receive. Because each bowl is unique, there may be a slight difference to the photo. The bowl does always have the same colours, but as a matter of fact, with a green-blue bowl, one bowl has the green a little more and with the other the blue, that has to do with the 'walking' of the glaze. The atmosphere, style and color combination will be right, but there will be a difference, one dish can have a runner, the other cannot. Colors are also always difficult to display, this usually differs per medium (laptop, mobile) and can be slightly different. This (the uniqueness and color reproduction) is a given and therefore see the photos as indicative, to which no (return) rights are granted. You can always come by (by appointment) to see the plate in real life and make your choice.
Important: Let the boiling water stand for a while before you pour it into the ceramic item. Pouring boiling water (still bubbling) into a cool dish or cup can cause the enamel to burst.
NOTE: In the shop you will find a selection of bowls, Studio Arhoj makes this selection when sending. Ordering a specific bowl or a second copy is therefore difficult and not possible.
Ceramic care
Non-glazed porcelain surfaces, such as the matte white areas on the Sip, slurp, chug cups, dip dish, and melting mugs, are sometimes sensitive to light stains, unlike glazed porcelain. Regular washing can help remove and prevent stains. Arhoj recommends that you wash these items by hand, but the cups can be placed in the dishwasher to remove stubborn stains. You can also put the cup in a bowl of warm water with a little washing-up liquid. Very stubborn stains can sometimes be removed with diluted chlorine and lime remover (first try in an invisible spot (underside, or this does not give any stains).
Gray lines on the glaze of your tableware are usually caused by your cutlery (eg spoon). These scratches won't hurt, but if you want to get rid of them, they can be removed lightly or completely (with baking powder, miracle sponge, Cream or Tartar (Toko). Grease stains on matt glaze can be removed with baking powder and water.
