At the table

Having a meal at the table is cozy and comfortable. A beautifully laid table invites you to eat and talk to each other. To create a pleasant atmosphere at the table, it is not always necessary to cover the table with a tablecloth. With a beautiful place mat you not only ensure the same effect, it is also super easy. A placemat is easy to remove and does not have to be washed as is the case with a tablecloth. Practical place mat

Place mats are easy to maintain. That certainly applies to the black place mat from SEJ Design. They have a nice and generous size (44x34 cm) and can be washed in the dishwasher. They are also resistant to high and low temperatures (-40 to 120 degrees). Although the place mat is resistant to high temperatures, it is not advisable to put a hot pan on it. The place mat is not very thick and can transmit the heat to the table or counter where the place mat is. So we recommend using a coaster that is specially designed to set up hot pans. Rubber place mat

The place mats are made of a synthetic rubber (polyurethane) and are durable. They remain beautiful for a long time, a fine example of well thought-out Danish design. Functionality and quality are paramount at SEJ Design. Substances such as oil and vinegar have no influence on the placemat and spilling is no problem. If the placemat gradually becomes a bit duller in color then that can be easily solved by treating the placemat with a drop of (food) oil. Just after rubbing with a soft cloth and the place mat is ready for use again.
