EKTA Living Magnetic Shelf 60cm Soaped Oak - Designed by Wirth
The magnet shelf by EKTA Living, designed by By Wirth, offers a beautiful solution for your kitchen knives with additional space for your favorite cookbook and a few spice jars. This simple and timeless design integrates seamlessly into various styles.
The shelf is perfect for storing knives and scissors. The small shelf provides room for your favorite cookbook and small spice jars, making it incredibly handy in your kitchen. You can also use this magnetic shelf in other rooms of the house.
Good to Know:** Most stainless steel kitchen knives are made of martensitic or ferritic steel. Knives made from other materials might not be magnetic enough.
The front of the shelf is 5cm high, and the shelf itself has 5cm of storage depth across its full width. The magnetic shelf in soap treated oak, is also available in a width of 40cm.
Magnetic Shelf for the Kitchen
The magnetic shelf was originally designed for the kitchen to keep your sharp knives, favorite cookbook, and spice jars within reach. However, its possibilities extend beyond the kitchen.
In the hallway, you can use the shelf to hang your keys on the magnetic strip. The shelf offers space for mail or can serve as a decorative spot for a framed poster.
In the hobby or workroom, the shelf is multifunctional. Above your desk, you can use your own magnets (not included) to place to-do lists or beautiful postcards on the strip. The shelf also provides a handy storage spot for your planner or notebook.
Minimal Space
The magnetic shelf is made of soaped oak, giving it a beautiful light oak color, lighter than oiled oak. If you love oak but prefer a lighter shade, this is ideal. It fits perfectly in light spaces, providing a wood tint. If you have a black space (like a black kitchen), this magnetic shelf can brighten it up and make it less dark. Combine it with the kitchen roll holder in the same tint for a cohesive look. This pale tint creates a light Nordic style.
The front of the shelf is 5cm high, and the shelf itself has 5cm of storage depth across its full width. It takes up minimal space, so it can be placed anywhere. The shelf comes with clear instructions for installation, including the necessary materials except for a wall plug (if needed, depending on your wall).
