Dottir Vase Pipanella Lines White (Big)

Product description

This special vase comes from the Pipanella Lines series from Dottir. Designed by Ceramicist Thora Finnsdottir. A beautiful twig or a number of wild flowers fit in this special vase, but even without flowers this vase is very beautiful and decorative. The vase has an oval shape and a beautiful relief.

Size: H181mm x W85mm.

Handmade

The Pipanella series is a special series, in which the designer starts her design with a thin slice of clay, rolls it or pushes another object onto it, so that the pattern of that object is transferred to the slice of clay. Then she folds the ends lightly over each other, forming a vase. A bottom is added and, as icing on the cake, a beautiful ornament on the front. The ornament is a print of, for example, a beautiful button that it has. After the vase is completely ready, a mold is made from the vase.

When the vases come out of the mold, they are manually updated and finally glazed and baked.

Ceramic vase

The vase is very suitable for a few beautiful flowers or twigs. You can put the vase on its own, but also in combination with some other vases from the Pipanella series. The vases within the Pipanella series have different sizes, reliefs and colours. Not every vase comes in every colour or size, which actually invites you to combine very different vases.
