Aya & Ida
Aya & Ida is a Danish family business founded in 2018. Aya & Ida are the names of their two daughters. The whole idea behind Aya & Ida is to think about your loved ones and the opportunities or limitations that will be present for the next generations if we continue to consume carelessly.
They believe that a more responsible lifestyle benefits everyone and everything. From neighbors and friends to the land and resources. All we need are the right products.
They combine design, functionality and elegance in products that are all associated with a mission - to relieve the earth of the excessive amount of plastic waste, while wanting to make a difference for the people who don't have the same opportunities as they do.
Aya & Ida Foundation
1 in 10 people in the world do not have access to clean water. The Aya & Ida Foundation donates 100 liters of clean water to children in need for every drinking bottle sold through Unicef. Aya & Ida have so far donated 23,975,000 liters of water through UNICEF (October 2022) https://ayaandida.dk/pages/foundation
Why purchase Aya & Ida products?
It's not just about extending the life cycle of the products in your home and reducing waste. All materials in their products are chosen to keep their customer healthy. As creators, they truly believe that even the smallest changes can have a big impact, even if it's just choosing a real drinking bottle, for example.
It is their philosophy that the life cycle of a product should be circular rather than linear. Products made from natural materials can have a long, functional life and then return to where they came from, instead of accumulating in a landfill.
